Privacy Policy

Who we are

This site (datumx.dev) is operated by DatumX Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. For any privacy question, contact info@datumx.dev.

What this website itself collects

Almost nothing, by design. This site has no contact forms, no cookies, no analytics or tracking scripts, and doesn't use browser local storage. Every "Contact" or "Request a quote" link simply opens your own email client — nothing is submitted to us through the website itself.

If you email us

When you email info@datumx.dev (including via a mailto link on this site), we receive whatever you send — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry, and keep it for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose or for our own legal/accounting obligations.

If you purchase a licence

DatumX, DatumX Creator, and DatumX Converter licences are sold through LemonSqueezy, who act as the merchant of record for these purchases. When you buy a licence, LemonSqueezy — not DatumX directly — collects and processes your payment details, billing address, and order information, as an independent data controller under their own privacy policy. DatumX does not see or store your full payment card details.

We do receive your name, email address, and order/licence information from LemonSqueezy, which we use to issue support, respond to licensing questions, and — where you've agreed to it — send product updates.

Using the plugin itself

Once installed, DatumX, DatumX Creator, and DatumX Converter send your licence key and machine name to LemonSqueezy's licensing API to activate and periodically re-validate your licence. No other data about your Revit models, projects, or usage is collected or transmitted by the plugins.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

Where we hold personal data about you, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data, where there's no legal reason for us to keep it
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing
• Ask for your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these, email info@datumx.dev. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Third parties

Besides LemonSqueezy (payments and licensing, above) and our email provider (Zoho Mail, for receiving enquiries), we don't share your data with third parties, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our services change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
